Exception Recorded in Log File > Notification in GUI

Would like to see in the GUI application some obvious indicator when an Exception is recorded in the Log file. Apparently, I've been generating errors for sometime and had no idea I needed see what was going on.

Specifically, in my most recent case some IMAGE files were either not supported image files, or files with extensions for supported image files but were really html or doc files. Something like the proposed/concept below would be beneficial:

Example with No Exceptions, Still Scanning Images--

Thank you for seriously considering some kind of implementation on GUI notification of exceptions recorded in the log file.

For reference, examples of the Exceptions noted (as in terminology used if one were to manually search the .log file)?
