The app is freezing both the file and folder list panes. Tried with another external HDD, the same occurs. Files: 180k, Folders: 1,699. Windows 10, I7 processor, 480Gb SSD, 12Gb RAM. Downgraded to 5.0.13 and now everything works fine. Awaiting for a new release...

FWIW (& granted these are all tiny files, & only 200K at that)...

DC 5.16 evaluated about 1,300,000 files (filename, extension, size - only). Sometimes it ends in 6 minutes, other times it takes something like 40 minutes, when clicking 'Start Search'. So far so good. The problem with freezing panels is obviously while doing the human evaluation task. And, as I said, the old version (5.0.13 - Sep/2021) is "the great, which is the enemy of the good".

Now I ran the search in image mode, resulting in 20K duplicate files, using V5.013. Everything works fine. With 18k files and 834 folders left, I decided to update the App with V5.16.00. Panel freeze returns. Likewise when I was dealing with many more duplicate files. I would like to download and test other versions "5". Didn't see it at DC website: v5.15 - 14th March 2022, v5.14 - 4th March 2022. I'm done with V5.013, but, as a licensed user, I would like to work like an updated pro

Update 5.17 should address file and folder panel freezing. The duplicate folder list is now paged.

This should be released within the next 7 days!
