would like to very much support the idea of having a coding layer like python or C. I have never mastered regex and being able to code instead would be a massive plus.

Add support for long paths in Windows and finding file paths over 260 characters !!!

Update: TextCrawler 4 is well underway and looking very good with a new MDI (multi-search) interface. I hope to post some screenshots soon.

I assume you will send an email to current TextCrawler Pro 3 users?

Everyone will be notified. It's not at that stage yet though - still incomplete and not ready for beta. I'll get some features and screenshots up soon!
