Even at 99% similarity, DCP doesn't find all duplicates

Hi, I'm a registered owner of Duplicate Cleaner Pro, and just out of curiosity, I downloaded another leading duplicate image cleaner, and it found 80 duplicate images (out of the 42K files I have in my library), so I set DCP to 99% similarity to see if it would find the same number of duplicates. It found 4. This indicates to me that either I have a wrong setting, 99% is not close enough to find all duplicates, or DCP does not reliably find all duplicates. What can I do to get DCP to find, without fail, ALL duplicates? I think I've exhausted all image search criteria options. A little help...?

I love DCP, I've been using it for many years, but if other, more modern duplicate image finding tools can find more than DCP can, I will need to switch. But the fact is, the other one I was looking at is a PER YEAR subscription if I want to continue using it, and I just don't think that I want to be billed annually for a product I might use 2 or 3 times a year. If I buy it, I SHOULD have a registered version for all time without having to pay for it again and again.

Thanks.

Is this in Image Mode? Have you tried 'Good' matching? Are you sure all the files are being included in the scan? (Check the file count and refer to the 'Skip'' settings).
