Scan speed problem

There are 2T image scans, but it takes about 5 days. Is there a faster solution (like upgrading the hardware?)

This is because Duplicate Cleaner refuses to use more than 10 to 20 percent of the CPU. Even if you have an extremely high-performing CPU, it will be slow. Because it needs to run longer when it uses less CPU, it actually ends up using more electricity and keeps the system slower for a longer time.

Look at your disk utilization. Is that maxed out? Then the CPU availability won't matter.
