"Protect DLL/EXE files" also protects URLs

Believe it or not, I was using Duplicate Cleaner on a computer with a couple of Internet shortcuts by the name of "Appendix C - Active Directory Diagnostic Tool (Ntdsutil.exe).url". That's what creating a shortcut to a web page produced. When Duplicate Cleaner found that file and a copy of it, Duplicate Cleaner would not delete the file as long as I had "Protect DLL/EXE files" enabled.
