I have files check-marked: but "File Removal" is all greyed out. How do I delete files?

Same here, I am running 2.0.6 on xp pro and I have just spent 2 hours scanning and 3 hours sorting through a list of dupes only to find the 'Image Preview' 'Selection Assistant' and 'File Removal' buttons greyed out. I was really starting to like this program, gutted now!

Just an update, having run the scan a number of times since the first one almost everything seems to work well.
Only 2 small issues, the file count at the bottom of the screen doesnt seem to be accurate and within the assistant the checkbox to 'only apply the rules to selected lines' doesnt seem to work, the rules were still applied to the whole list even though it correctly showed I had selected 20 lines (4 groups).
Despite the little hiccups I'm really starting to like this software the more I get into it.

I didnt do anything really. just closed the app and restarted it and scanned again and it been working fine since. It was only greyed on my first scan.
If your still having the issue it could be worth trying to uninstall and reinstall

Thanks.
I think the moderator only checks in once a week... Do you know if there is a way that I can select all of the dupes that show up in "X:/" drive (or in any certain folder on it)? I don't want to weed through 2000 dupes.

Michael, using the 'assistant' you can specify a path to preserve dupes in, for example 'X:\Pics to Keep' just click on 'selection assistant' then on the tab 'Select by Location' then browse to the folder location, all dupes outside of this location will be marked for deletion/moves etc. You can also automatically select other methods like date/size etc under the other tabs.
I've found the assistant works really well, but i would advise caution and lots of double checking before finally deleting files.
