How to mark all files in one location

Post by Michael »

I am comparing a backup drive with another drive.
How do I delete all duplicate results from say my "F" drive?

Highlight any one of the duplicates that are on the F: drive, right-click, Mark -> Mark all duplicates in this folder tree.

Then check the 'Groups with all marked' button to verify that you are not deleting any group entirely.

Hi,
All groups I'd like to mark are under F/.

The files that I see that I CAN mark are all under subfolders therein, like: F:/xx/33/44/tt .

Is there a way to select everything duplicate in the F drive without having to scroll down to find a duplicate set that is on the root of that drive?

In the selection assistant, choose the 'select by text pattern tab', select 'Path' and enter F: in the box. This should select all on the F. drive.
