disregard file extension when matching?

Post by Howard »

I often shoot raw photos (*.crw files) and later convert them to jpg files for web posting. I don't need to keep these jpg conversions but do want to keep the raw originals. I now have hundreds of files that are identical save for the file extension (.crw vs .jpg). Is there anyway to get Duplicate Cleaner to mark these files as dupes? I don't see anyway to tell it to disregard file extensions.

If you want to only remove _all_ your .JPG files, you can execute the following DOS command from a command prompt in the specific (parent) directory:

DEL *.JPG /s

Or, you can right click in the duplicate list on one of the jpg files and choose 'select by extension'
