Finding duplicates in 2 separate locations

Hello,

Giving DC a try and overall, I like the way it works and options available. A little overwhelming to start with, but who learned to ride a bike in one day?!?

I am having trouble in using it to my specific needs. For example, I want to compare 2 different locations, but I only want to see the files duplicated in both locations. I don't want to show any of the duplicates found in "Location A" - only the duplicates in "Location A" & "Location B"

To clarify,
- if there are 3 copies of "MyFile.txt" only in "Location A" - I don't need to see this
- if there are 3 copies of "MyFile.txt" in "Location A" and 1 copy of "MyFile.txt" in "Location B" - I want to see this
- if there is 1 copy of "MyFile.txt" in both "Location A" and 1 copy in "Location B" - I want to see this

Is there a way to do this using Duplicate Cleaner? If we can do this, you'll have another paying customer :geek:

Cheers

You can do this - just set both input folders to 'Don't scan against self'
