2.0.5 installation hangs

1.4.0.7 has worked fine although it hangs on some hd video files. uninstalled 1.4.0.7 then tried to install 2.05 but installation fails as it is about to complete and the gui page starts to be drawn. Task manager says not responding.All frozen. Any ideas?
