What is the maximum file size with which the program works? In a large file (5Gb), the program does not find anything. Works if there is a limit on the lines.

It depends on the version - I don't think there is a limit in the current release, though line mode may be more efficient for huge files as the normal mode loads the whole file into memory at once.
