I want to check my document directory for duplicate files, but I want to protect one of subdirectory.
It seems it is only possible to select all my subdirectories in Documents separately and then mark one subdirectory to protect it.
Is there another way to do?

C:\Users\Guido\Documents <-- These directory contains many files and directories
C:\Users\Guido\Documents\Annual reports <-- these directory I want to protect. From this directory files never should be deleted.

Regards, Guido

(I'm on XP ATM, so using the older DC 3.2.7, but...) I can drag "Annual Reports" directory into the Search Paths window & set it as Excluded.

And with that, \Documents\ is searched, but \Documents\Annual Reports\ is excluded from the list.

DC 4 has the "grid" selector that should allow you to exclude that particular directory even though you are including its parent.
