Just to let you know that Audio data comparison mode will return in version 4.0.2. It didn't make the cut in time for release but it will be back - and will now support audio hash caching too.

Also, hopefully, RAW camera image support (similar image scan and preview) will be in 4.0.2 as well. RAW, NEF, CRW, CR2, DNG, ARW and more will be supported from a wide range of camera makes. A much requested feature.

Audio data comparison mode

I didn't pay much attention when you posted this, but by that do you mean this:

What we have, currently, is a "Tag Scan" only - data is ignored.

What we will get, (& I'm pretty sure what we had in the past) is where you could choose data alone (tags are ignored), tags alone (like now, data is ignored) or some combination of both (data & tag(s))?

Yes, just as in version 3 - data or tags.
