Hello, I'm new here and so with this software. I downloaded the free version and everything on the installation goes smooth... then when I opened the software I'm getting the "has stopped working" window and then it disappears. I tried uninstalling and installing it again and also tried to look online for a solution of this and the only one I saw was in this forum and basically someone said to install a .net framework software to see if either was the Duplicate Cleaner or the .net framework... so I downloaded paint.net and I worked perfectly... and so just in case I did the .net framework repair... and I'm still getting the "has stopped working" error. My laptop is running windows 7 64bit. And... I need help! I really want to use this software and looking forward to a pro version.

This is a new crash to me. However, I've searched and found a possible answer - user profile corruption.
Can you try it from a different user profile in Windows 7?

This thread has some more information with users experiencing a similar crash for other software, and contains a way of repairing your own profile if that is the problem.
