In current version, there is feature which allows to preserve the files in selected path whilst selecting the files that duplicate them elsewhere. But often I need to delete files in selected folder instead of preserving them. I can do this by:
1. selecting to preserve files in path (in which I want to delete them in the end)
2. inverting marked files
3. filtering marked by: "group has all marked"
4. unmarking all filtered files
5. finally deleting marked files (because now marked are only these, which were preserved first)
But much more convienient will be to choose - if I want to:
a) Preserve
b) Delete
files in selected path (including or not - subfolders).

I think I think I understand what you're saying ;-).
And from what I can see, all works now, except that the Invert works globally rather then only on currently selected groups.

So yes, having the ability to Invert by select groups might be a worthwhile feature.
(Even if it is kind of a round-about method you go through to get there.)

Is it the right-click context menu "Mark->Mark all files found in this folder (tree)" that you are looking for?
