Bug? in operating in selected rows...

1.I selected a selection of rows and opt to operate within the row , and then try to mark by oldest files by created. It does not work....3.2.1 x 64
2. Similiarly amongst files.* I want to operate only amongst *.html and proceed to mark only latest files in that group , I think such an option is not available right now? Because once the mark this type is selected all get randomly marked, and whence the rule for the latest is applied files other than *.html also get marked. This is in 3.0.1 x 32 , and am not sure it is present in the latest .

I'm not understanding what you mean by that?
AFAIK there is no way to select only a subset of the Results List to operate on?

Works here, XP.
I will note that if there is not an "oldest", IOW, the file date/time are the same, then they are not selected.

Selection Assistant | Work only on currently selected rows
In any case, the oldest files are still being selected.

I am afraid it does not work here.. The duplicates in the rows are not being selected..

I can't see the date/time column in the shot, but the select by date functions don't do anything if all the datetimes in the group are the same.

Ceded. You are spot on and the time lines are the same . It does work for say all but one each group. Thanks for revealing something to me..
1. I operate on certain rows finish the marking. Proceed to select another set of rows , but find the work amongst rows already ticked , so have to untick and tick again..
2. When the first time the whole selection is made , the box apparently goes black for 2 seconds. But the second time there are no issues...
