Will Duplicate Cleaner work on a NAS raid 5 system

Does anyone know if DC will work on a NAS system with a raid5 configuration. The NAS holds all of my photo's

It works on my infrant X-raid NAS no problem. Works on all network mapped drives for me.

works with qnap-509-pro (running RAID5 mode)

...since i figured out how to add network devices^^^...
