Looks like the language file hasn't installed correctly - there should be 381 entries in lang.ini

(you'll probably want to know:)

Win XP SP3

lang_en.ini:

Code: Select all

...
364=All
365=Marked
366=Not Marked
367=Filter Other
368=No Filters
369=Clear Other Filters
370=Refresh Filters
371=Filter this
372=Remove Filter
373=Filter Marked
374=Group Has Mark
375=Group Has No Marks
376=Group Has All Marked
377=% File(s) Shown
378=Jump to containing group
379=This operation will affect the entire list, not just the current filter. Continue?
380=Exclude Path
381=Ignore extensions when comparing file names

Try re-selecting the language from the list (Options->Select language). Maybe you have an older copy in the folder selected?

For some odd reason, English is listed twice.
One works correctly, the other not.
There is only one lang_en.ini in the instalDir.
(I scanned it Duplicate Cleaner looking for dups ;-).)

Perhaps something in the Windows Registry pointing to the old 3.0.1 ?

Hmm! DC doesn't use the registry, and it only reads from the working folder. There must be another (old) english lang file with a different name in there! There are 7 language files with DC 3.1.4

Ah, you are so right!

(this was a backed up copy from the 3.0, not 3.0.1, version)

Sorry for the noise :|.
