My earlier problem

was solved with 3.1.3 update, but now there is another problem. Error message pops up and pauses scan:

Error parsing and showing text item: 181:
Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.

I have 16GB RAM and Win7 64-bit. C drive has 11GB free, both drives that I try to scan have more than 500GB free. So what memory here is running out!?

This popup comes about 4 times with some variations of that number value. After clicking OK about 4 times it exited Duplicate Cleaner by wasting about 12 hours of scan progress.

Why does it have to pause the scan with these error boxes? I do not need such info, it should continue scan in any case.

Why will it exit program after clicking OK for several variations of this error boxes? It should not close Duplicate Cleaner and waste scan.

I have not yet managed to run a single scan successfully!

And no. I am not even scanning inside zip files this time. I got too suspicious of that function.

Hmm, it's more of a memory fragmentation issue than actually running out. The popups shouldn't happen - it's just throwing them up in error as it tries to sort itself out.

I have a new build with improved memory management - are you interested in trying it out?

The problem with it is that in my case scanning those terabytes takes long time and I put it on over night and it barely advances because I would have to be there hours for clicking OK buttons before it eventually rans out.

After scanning 1,96 TB of data it gave error "Error in Scan Process: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thown. I clicked OK and program closed itself in about 10 seconds with no further messages.

I have to tell that I'm scanning 2 drives of sizes 2TB and 3TB and they contain not only normal files but about 420 files of sized between 1GB and 5.7GB and taking space of about 700GB. Maybe Duplicate Cleaner Pro cannot handle that.

I was also getting "System.OutOfMemoryException" during a scan. It would stop at the same point every time. The 3.1.4 beta resolved this issue for me.
