Deleting duplicate file numbers with the file extensions

Hello,
I am a photographer and have a lot of images that are duplicated, so I used your free duplicate cleaner only to find out the it only looks at the file name and ignores the type as in file #1234.jpg or #1234.tif or #1234.cr2 . So, after the process, it had taken away the .tif, the .cr2 and only left the #1234.jpg. I only wanted to take out the duplicate file # and types only so if #1234.crw came up 2x that it would be removed, not all the other file types with the same #'s. Fortunately, I had the same files on another hard drive and was able to recover those files. Is there any way you can set up your program that will look at the entire file name and file type to see if duplicates exist and remove them?
Regards,
Millard
