For finding picture duplicates it would be a great idea to give an option of ignoring EXIF etc. tags, to just compare the CRC of the actual picture (and not get a CRC difference because a tag changed). Also, a comparison based on a resized image in a predifined standard format would be very handy to find duplicates of the same picture in different formats / sizes.

I'm thinking about:
-That would be great if Duplicate Cleaner supports Unicode in reading folders and files.
-And should it become a portable software?
-Drag & Drop files & folders instead of browsing for folders.
Thanks so much.
I greatly appreciate your work. Keep it up!

Bjrn - Interesting points thanks.
Macabong - Drap and drop works in version 1.3 (beta). Unicode would be nice (though you'll have to wait till version 2.0).

DV - I cant wait for the 'select by master folder' function in a new version, thanks! (from your post - Posted July 15, 2008 at 20:53)
I was using DC just a minute ago and I come to another useful function that could be added: possibility to czange a file name, directly from 'Duplicate files' list (e.g. available in the context menu).
Again, thanks for a great work!
