The ipod files might be aac format in which case DC won't see them when in 'music' mode.

Ok so DC won't reconise ipod files as music files.
Then i wish that the next DC will reconise ipod files as musoc files.
I converted the ipot files to wma files but even when you use DC not in music mode it will somehow not reconise the same file name.
I tryed a other duplicate finder with the same problem.
There must be a little difrent i do not see in the file name.

PS sorry for my bad spelling but i like to think i write with a accent.

What I would like is to structure a seach based on file extension (such as .exe, etc...) with the abiltiy to delete just the file or the directory the file is in. I like the seach but it brings up too many similar items when directories contain the same required file updates.

jepoy - you can see bitrate in the current version (1.2). It is show in the duplicate list when in music mode (along with sample rate, length, etc)

When i use 1.2 of duplicata cleaner, and if the system is NTF,the software stops work and remind me the driver is system folder.

It is because the root drive you are scanning is classed as a system folder, eg "C:\". Un-check the 'Don't Scan System files/folders' option in the 'Options' menu.

This behaviour is changed in v1.3.

Hello! I've gone through "to do" list and I like those requested improvements. Could I have a suggestion about adding a solution of such a problem: let's assume I have a specified folder ("A") with eg picture files AND I need to compare ONLY files from within this folder ("A") AGAINST another folder ("B") or entire drive? To put it in another words: to find all copies of files from a folder ("A") for deleting all of their copies elsewhere. Would be very useful. (Now it finds copies of the files from a folder "A" BUT ALSO the copies of files from dir "B" at another locations of the same "B").
BTW, thanks for a great tool!
apologies for my english

Never mind..... I see all of my wishes have already been addressed by others. Do you need BETA testers for 1.3 ???
