I'm having the same problem and have searched for a solution but can't find anything pertinent.
Will someone please throw me a bone here? I'm willing to do the heavy lifting, I just need to know where to start. I've re-installed multiple time and scanned the registry as well.

Yes the beta worked for me too. Though, I really wonder what broke the earlier version on my PC
