Problem with sorting

Post by VanTuz »

After I switched to version 5.21, a problem appeared with sorting. Previously, when sorting, for example, by width, the sorting took place in each group, but now all files are sorted. I tried to find a setting to make sorting happen in groups, but I couldn’t find it.

Well, for me this works:
I first e.g. sort (all files found) by name,
next, I sort by group.

Result: In all groups, files are now sorted by name.

I guess the same procedure should work for you, when it comes to sorting by images widths.

Unfortunately, it didn't help

UPD. I chose to sort by group and by width with shift held down, and it worked.

Try shift-clicking the column header to sort by multiple columns

I discovered this point myself, but thanks anyway for the advice. It worked, problem solved.
But there is one more thing - previously you could select the entire group or several rows, click on the square on the left and checkboxes would be placed on the selected objects. Now it doesn't work.
