It may happen that some folders in the duplicate files list/results list should be hidden.
Am not sure, but naybe this is covered by context menu item "Drop this folder tree from list CTRL-Shift-Del"(?)
Again, I am not sure.
I tried it, the folder disappeared.
Some questions: IF... indeed hiding a folder is covered by the above:
-how to see which folders are hidden? (are they listed somewhere)
-how to 'unhide'?
-can I hide two folders are the same time?
Thanks!
Hide / Unhide folders (Drop from list)
Re: Hide / Unhide folders (Drop from list)
(Not that I know, particularly, but...)
-how to see which folders are hidden? (are they listed somewhere)
I'm thinking not.
-how to 'unhide'?
Thinking you'd have to re-run a scan.
-can I hide two folders are the same time?
Seems you cannot.
You can drop multiple files at once, but not folders.

Re: Hide / Unhide folders (Drop from list)
Thanks a lot.
Maybe... it could be a suggestion for a next release then.
OTOH, maybe it would make things to complex.
The background of my idea is: one may select multiple (sub)folders, perform the scan, get a really lllong list of duplicate folders.
I believe it is faster then to have some sort of option to -at least temporary- 'hide' specific folders-groups, so as to make the list a little shorter and more 'workable' in that sense that one can focus on specific folders first, then 'unhide' the other folders and de-dupe those, etc.
So, doing the 'de-dupes' in parts.
This way one can perform a scan on base folder instead of having to select sub sub folders one by one and compare those, which may be time consuming.
Anyway, thanks again.
