Hello
in my version 5 , I try to selectively mark some duplicates for deletion by choosing the ones located on the root directory of a given drive, namely "V:\"
To do that I entered the same "V:\" character string in the "Mark by text pattern" text field.
However this setting marks for deletion ALL duplicate files being in the drive V. Not only those in the root but also in the subdirs :-/
Is there a way to do it otherwise ? (other than manually)
Thanks in advance
Best regards
LG

If you are doing this from the Duplicate files tab-
-Right-click on a file in the V drive to get the context menu
-Click on the 'Parent folders' menu
-Drill down to find the root V:
-Mark->Mark all files found in this folder
OR
-Find in list
-V:\ (match whole column option)
-Use as filter
-Then you can ctrl-a and space or use Invert or one of several other ways, your choice!
