Hello,
Often I use duplicate cleaner to compare my network drive (where I store eg. pictures, movies etc permanently) P: to hardisks on my laptop.
It would be very time efficient if somewhere the calculated hashed of the files on drive P: are stored, now they are recalculated every time. Would be nice if a switch (keep hash/store hash) is available. I know this has implications if the files did change and the hashes are no longer valid , maybe recalculate the hash when a duplicate is found or leave it up to the user completely (user gets what he asked for, user decides)
Thanks for this amazing piece of software!
Cheers,
Dries

As of version 4 it does cache the hashes - check the options window. It also stores the Date Modified, so if the date has changed the hash is recalculated.
Hope this helps!
