caps-insensitive/case-insensitive text content comparisons?

Is there a setting for Duplicate Cleaner to identify duplicate text files regardless of upper/lowercase content?
If so, can you please explain how to set this?

There is no "text" specific search.
And by the same token, suppose you could add white space, line ends, & diacritics to the same RFE.

Not currently. A new 'Text mode' duplicate search type is on the wish-list, but not implemented yet.
