Picasa and Duplicate Cleaner

Note: Picasa does not automatically save changes to pictures! We scanned three photos in one scan and copied the scan twice to create three identical files with the same three pictures inside. We used Picasa to crop the three files into the three individual pictures. Here is where it gets interesting: Picasa by design does not apply the changes to the files -- it makes a .picasa file in the same directory with instructions for the changes. So, in Picasa, we see three individual pictures because it remembers what changes we wanted to make, but Duplicate Cleaner sees three original, identical files [because in fact, they are unchanged by Picasa and they really are identical!]. Picasa can save the changes, but it is up to you to ask for Picasa to do it -- it won't do it automatically. Until you do, what you did in Picasa and what Duplicate Cleaner sees are two different things and can lead to deleting files you thought were different, but in fact are the same!

If somethings has removed the changed picassa files, just make a new scan/search with Picassa, and now that Picassa are making a new dir with a changed picture if you choice to correst a picture and change it. It is not a problems, just remember to save all youre important pictures on a USB disk, dont trust to mutch on youre PC intern harddisk, it cant break down. Remember one things: realy proff Fotographers and Cameramens has saving the original on USB and only using PC intern disk for working, before it is saving on USB.
So, dont scan USB disk but only youre working PC s disk.
make a new scan for youre USB disk Only after PC Disk Scan
and save youre working files.
Remember to saving youre LAST work on USB and Dont choice youre USB and PC Disk both together in duplicatescan, you may keep youre Working data safe on USB and Clean youre working PC, its giving little more power in working process on youre working PC...So dont turning youre USB Disk ON before you want to scan this disk only for duplicate...
"Be carefull if some VIRUS has duplicated some files, remember to doing a Virusscan before you are scannings for duplicate Files, good luck"
REMEMBER, every time you has changed a Picture or video in Picassa,,, SAVE youre Picasa files on a USB disk.
