Shortcuts etc

Post by dcwul62 »

Am new here, purchased Pro version yesterday. One of the reasons for buying is that it is possible to select folders based on the shortest path.
This is a handy feature. An example: you may have a PDF sheet of a car - CarXYZ. This is in your \PDF folder.
Later you may download the sheet again, but store in \Cars\Trademark\type\CarXYZ.

That said, I have a question:

Is there a kind of shortcut list ?
e.g. noticed that I can select foldes, hit spacebar and they are selected.
Is there a shortcut for : File Remove->Delete Files

TIA

There isn't a list (we probably need a manual page). There are some shortcuts, which are usually noted on the relevant menu item:

Space - Mark selected file (or folder in Duplicate folder list)
CTRL-A - Select All
CTRL-T Select by text window
CTRL-L Select by Location window
ALT-F4 - exit
F1 - Help
F2 - Rename selected file in list
F3 - Image preview
F5 - refresh file list (remove files deleted externally)
F10 - More Options
ALT-R - View recycle bin
ALT-UP, ALT-DOWN - jump to next/previous Marked file in list

Please feel free to list any shortcut requests here! Delete Files (CTRL-D?) is probably a good one to start.

Thanks a lot.

Maybe in a future update CTRL-D could be added as to delete selected files/folders.
Of course that is upto you as DigitalVulcano to develop.

Personally I use CTRL-D in my Windows Explorer (replacement).
I also have CTRL-W(ipe) that takes care of a 1-pass wiping - but that as well is used in Windows Explorer replacement
(Directory Opus).
