Scan Cancelled Shows No Intermediate Results
Like my "259 GB, ... & it looks like it might take 10 days using, Similar Names & Same/Similar Artist" search which was running for who knows how many (LONG) minutes & was only 2.6% (1087/41537) complete, & had found 9 duplicate sets, when I cancelled the scan, I didn't even get to see the those items it had come up with.
For whatever it may have been worth, it would have been nice to have seen those intermediate results.

This was removed due to the (possibly long) time taken to populate the list after cancelling, in order to speed up the cancellation process and return control to the user.
We are currently working on a new way of handling the data and this feature may return in the future.

Yeah, I have to agree -- removing this feature was a mistake, especially with large data sets. The output should be generated quickly at the end using candidate data only, not the entire collection of data. There is definitely something wrong with the data processing if this feature had to be removed to improve "response" time.

Cancelling is back in 3.1 - you can get intermediate results again!
The reason that the intermediate results aren't shown is due to the list population time - it was a trade off to give control back to the user straight away.
The list population delay is thing of the past in 3.1 too - there is a new data/display model.
