I have just discovered how much superior the RegEx Tester is in comparison with the regex features of regular text editors like Notepad++ (esp. because it works smoothly across line-breaks and has these handy tabs with overviews)
Suggestion: Integrate the Tester more prominently in TextCrawler single file mode (it could work on the files instead of test files directly)! By the way, Tester could be a popular stand-alone regex file manipulator application, too if that makes sense for DigitalVolcano.
Possible improvements in this respect:
* Make border between test text pane and tabs dragable, to see more of the current (test) text.
* Button "Save (test) text" (and update text pane) in addition to "Use this" in the context of TextCrawler
* Make it possible to display all matches as in "... Plus 79 more. (Not shown)" to copy them for analysis into other tools (or even back into the test pane!)
