1.4.7 Freezes When Doing "Same Content" Comparison

I'm finding that Duplicate Cleaner 1.4.7 freezes when scanning a 1TB external drive I have, but only of I've got it set to "Find Files With Same Content" (presumably using the MD5 hash). This is a PIA and I can't figure a work around.

No sure why this is - It may appear to freeze but still be working. Have you tried the 2.0 beta?
