Seeing this on both 1.4.7 and 2.0 Beta on Win7

What exactly did you do to produce this error message?
How many files did you have Duplicate Cleaner scan?

Start and run the program. (I know - not very descriptive)
Don't have a file number, simply asked it to scan the C drive.

That misleading error is usually from a filesystem issue to do with directory searching rather than a memory problem. I'll need to fire up Windows 7 and do some tests.

The same error. Scan details:
Checked 33.1% - 138226/418092 files (103 GB)
29281 Duplicate sets found
Same content(MD5)
OS Win XP SP3 32bit, AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+, 2.6 GHz, mem 3.25 Gb
