textcrawler 4 in the works?

was wondering if there was any update for textcrawler 4 or a newer edition of textcrawler 3.x . Have not seen a release in a while. Although the current version appears very stable and functional enough.

I particularly need to be able to limit the amount of files in a folder to be scanned. Limit scan by file age from [current date of scan] [date modified] or something like that. As a folder can have a lot of text files, and there is no need to re-scan files that have already been handled.


Currently, all files are scanned without a way to filter by age of file (from some kind of rolling date, like "todays" date)

I hope to get an update out soon - Duplicate Cleaner 5 has been taking up all the time!

Does the existing filter not help? You can filter between dates (created or modified)
