I have some DVD backups and I wanted to compare files on DVD with files on my HDD. So I copied all the content from DVD to HDD, run Duplicate Cleaner with search path "D:\_SCANNED PIC" and "D:\SCANED DVD zaloha 2007 E a C" with marked option Find files with: Same content
After scan I deleted a lot of duplicate files, then run again for sure - with result 0 Files have duplicates. But i found adresary that was not empty: "D:\SCANED DVD zaloha 2007 E a C\svoboda" and I have same adresary in orig "D:\_SCANNED PIC\svoboda" So I run compare again with search path "D:\_SCANNED PIC\svoboda" and "D:\SCANED DVD zaloha 2007 E a C" - with result 96 Files have duplicates (247 MB)
So that files were not recognized by first (and second) run even after restart.
I like Duplicate Cleaner it is only free and easy to use program of this sort I know.
