How is the 2TB connect?
Internally? USB? Network... ?
What scan method are you using (Same Content, I gather)?
Are you scanning within ZIP files?
Are you scanning the entire HDD (at once)?
How many files on the drive?
Do you have lots of same sized files?

Re: How do I speed up DC pro?
I was having the same problem working on a 2 Tb disk. The first thing below was my problem, but I noted a few other things while trying to solve it.
One thing that was slowing it down was that I had inadvertently set search to near match. A lot faster if you use exact match.
Secondly I have found, or at least it appears to be, on many large scale DC runs that you are better working your way down the folders (adding one or just 2 or 3 folders at a time and running the search). ie Check first folder for duplicates, then add second older and check again, then third and so on. It can also be easier, if a lot of duplicates ae found, to deal with the duplicates that way.
Third - my drive was very full - seemed to go faster after I created some space on it by deleting manually some things I knew were duplicates.
No idea if there is any logic or if any of these suggestions are correct, apart from the same or close match option, but I hope they help.
