Scan lasting over 24 hours

I started a scan that has been running for 26 hours. How do I know if it still scanning properly or is hung up?

How can I determine how much loger it will take?

What will happen if I stop the scan? Will it display the duplicate files that have been found prior to me stopping the scan?

IMO, better to start small, get a feel for how things work, then expand on your usage.
