Broken feature in DCP 4.1.4: Pasting location doesn't move to that place in the directory.

Post by wwcanoer »

In past versions, I could paste a location (ex. D:\Documents\2020\ToSearch) and click enter and the appropriate directory would be selected but in 4.1.4 this does not happen. It will only advance one directory at a time:

Pasting D:\Documents\2020\ToSearch selects D:\
Pasting D:\Documents\2020\ToSearch again selects D:\Documents
Pasting D:\Documents\2020\ToSearch again selects D:\Documents\2020
Pasting D:\Documents\2020\ToSearch again selects D:\Documents\ToSearch

This is not a fatal error but is annoying. I hope that you can fix this in the next update.

Thanks.

I think this behaviour was in all 4.x. It'll go to the correct folder if the tree has been opening previously in the session.
This is fixed in V5!

I discovered that one can right-click the right in the "selected folders window" and directly past the path but glad to hear that it will work again in the main folder selection window.
