Hello, I am new to this board, and at a loss.
I am trying to find out if display results show the final folder names that the duplicates are in? I can see a string, but it is not long enough to show the actual folder name. The only way I have been able to see the actual folder is to pick the "show folder in windows explorer" option. There has to be a faster way?
I have searched various topics strings, but am not finding an answer.
I have tried various options, but they don't seem to do what I need. As a computer programmer from the dark ages, I find this program to be anything but user friendly, and have spent more time than I care to looking for a solution.
I have many pics and mp3s all over the place that I need to get rid of, so I purchased this program.
displaying folders
Re: displaying folders
resize the Folder column width
(might not be feasible with a very long folder name)
hover the folder name, momentarily

export the duplicate list to csv file, then examine that
(not particularly "clean" for what you want)

Re: displaying folders
Thank you, I will try your suggestions. What I did notice; is when it finds duplicates, it seems to list the folders alphabetically by name, even though
they're not actually displayed.
We'll see what sense I can make of this mess, which is the result on my constant need to save same files repeatedly, and then also back them up.
