Delete all, but not ONE largest/smallest

Post by giaber »

Hi, all!
Today I tried to work with Duplicate Cleaner first time.

How delete in the each group (Image Mode):
1) all, but not ONE largest (by file size)
2) all, but not ONE smallest (by file size)
3) all, but not ONE largest (by width/height)
4) all, but not ONE smallest (by width/height)

in the group can be the same images too !

I have to do a sequence of several operations for this
what is the shortest way?

Thank you!

PS
sorry for my english i use google translator

Use the Selection Assistant-
https://www.duplicatecleaner.com/manual ... =&sct=MzQ5

This should have the options you mentioned.

For instance: to mark all, but not ONE largest (by file size)

- Make sure all Unmarked (Unmark all)
- Click 'Mark by file size-> Smallest files in each group'
- To select any left over groups where the smallest file sizes were the same, now click 'All but one in each group'. Your existing marks are left alone.

Sorry for the late reply!
Thank you very much! It work.

PS1
One thing.
Choosing
1) the ONE LARGEST in group (or ONE image if there is only same images in the group)
2) the ONE SMALLEST in group (or ONE image if there is only same images in the group)

are one of the most frequent operations.
Do you think it would be worthwhile to make special choice points for these operations?

One persons "special" is another persons "not special" ;-).

Though the general concept of configurable, user changeable, hotkeys is a nice thought.
