I am looking in drive P and drive G.
I need to delete the duplicates that are in the drive G
I tried reading the manual but it was not clear to me after selecting the assistant... what to do.
any ideas guys?

I found the exe file and clicked run as administrator....
but it still wont behave!
what am i doing wrong?

PS I am the only user of the computer.

Does, View | View log file, give you any clues.

Also, I would want to be certain that those .fon files are not in fact hardlinked elsewhere?


Might just be a permissions issue.
If you pick one of those files, are you able to delete it from within Windows Explorer?

yes they are deletable within windows explorer.
nothing is linked to anywhere.
just old backups of files on a separate hard drive.

note i have now done several file types. most of the files are deleted, but not all!
sounds like a win7/64 problem.
the duplicate cleaner software is wonderful
