Just would like to inform everyone that you should ALWAYS verify that the software is working like it should, because I almost deleted hundreds of family photos that were supposedly copies, that weren't.

What settings did you use that that happened?


If you are looking for exact duplicates, a Regular mode search, by Same content, is the best & fastest (compared to any Image mode search).
(Again that assumes exact, some content, duplicates.)

The software should identify correctly. Of course if you've used loose image settings you may get similar but not exact matching duplicates. Note that the groups contain ALL copies, so you shouldn't delete everything.
And always have back-ups before starting a file cleanup project!
