Settings interwined with hashes in database

I attempted to play with some UI settings, resulting in a bugged interface (background color for file list) soit dit en passant--not the main subject here, and i realised that the only way i could get back to the default UI settings was to throw away the whole database (it was more than 1G, and result of many hours of scanning)....

is it possible to sepaprate the settings, or perhaps make that part accessible as exportable sql or not (i have no idea). i assume i could not play with the internal structure of the database (or can i?).

please point me to other topic or posts. if needed.

Yes, sometimes the background colour setting can break the list. You may be able to repair it by changing the colour again. It's on the bug list!

You can't currently edit the raw database, you can only export the file list.
