more than one duplicate

Post by JWalkerMR »

Hello,

is there any way to select only files which have more than one duplicate? I want to clean up my backups and use duplicate cleaner pro 4.0.4

Still no answer? So I guess it's not possible :-(
Is there any chance that this feature will be implemented or do I have to search for another software?

There is one way of doing this I think:

* Ensure the 'Automatically hide single file groups' Option is enabled. (Options drop down menu).
* Run a scan as normal.
* Selection Assistant->Mark by group->Only one file in each Group
* Right-Click on any file, select 'Drop marked from list'

Only groups which initially had 3 or more files will remain. (i.e. files with more than one duplicate).

The only problem with this approach is that you will have already dropped one file from each remaining group.

Note you only need to do this once - it will drop all the marked from the list.
