Re: Need some help on understanding the grouping

Frankly, I don't know what best to do, reason why I asked here... ;) Please note, in most cases (almost always) I use DC with default settings. This is one of the rare occasions I go into settings. Anyway, many thanks for the tip! With 'Good Match' I still get quite a few groups with 4 files. Using ...

Re: Need some help on understanding the grouping

I don't know... I wanted to compare files with description or comments, so I added those, so any file that has no such thing, would then be skipped.

I just check, but same file size is greyed out.

No idea how to proceed... sorry.

Is it possible to run DC twice at the same time?

I have set up a detailed duplicate check, number of folders, specific criteria, etc. and would like to run DC a 2nd time on other folders. However, I do not want to loose the first check, i.e. I would like to keep that running, so I can continue with that one later. Is it possible to run Duplicate C...

Re: Files that look the same are marked as duplicates

In "Options" MD5 is selected. Frankly, I believed that files were be marked/listed as duplicates when MD5 hash would be the same. Files are now listed as duplicates but MD5 are different. See attachment. Both files are listed as duplicates, however, the MD5 are different. https://imgur.com...
