Re: Getting a "SQL logic Error" message
Thanks for the info- Is it possible to get a copy of your duplicatecleanerpro.data file (after running a failed scan),so I can test the issue here? It's in C:\Users\[YOUR USER]\AppData\Roaming\DigitalVolcano\DuplicateCleaner on Windows 7. It shouldn't be too big if you haven't done huge scans, and w...

Re: Duplicate Files popup menu discrepancy
-If you sort the list by 'Path' you can scroll to the files which are in the Path you want to exclude - they will all be together. -Click (not checkmark) on the first file in that path, then scroll to the last one and shift-click on it. You'll see all the ones in between are now highlighted. -Right ...

Re: Duplicate Files popup menu discrepancy
The 'drop selected' only drops the the highlighted files, not the marked (check marked) ones, so it won't affect your marks. An easy way to do this us to sort by folder name and shift-click the range with the folder name you want to exclude. (Don't shift click the checkboxes though!)

Re: Duplicate Files popup menu discrepancy
Hi - Are you sure you installed the Pro version and not the Free one? Did it ask you to enter a code?
If you want to remove a folder from the search results you can select all the files in that folder in the list and click 'drop selected files' - no need to rescan.

Re: Getting a "SQL logic Error" message
Sorry you are having trouble - it tests OK here. Can you try it with the log file turned on (More Options), and dump the log here? Might have a few clues.
Here v3.2.1 - let me know if it helps.

Re: Version 3.2.1x 64 slower?
This happens in some situations - it's related to the splash screen and is on the 'to-fix' list.Nagan wrote:Why do all versions of DC not take focus on starting and instead restore it to the original existing screen?

Re: Can this have a choice of more folders;
I think that one (preservation of files) was addressed in 3.1.6-
- Select by Location efficiency fixes
Select by Location (from window) now preserves (unmarks) files within the selected folder/tree

Re: feature request
Good idea, it could be added.
You can do this another way - use Selection Assistant->Select by Location and just type the drive letter (eg: D:\)

Re: Version 3.2.1x 64 slower?
1 - Yep 3.0.1 and 3.2.1 work differently, so the timings for the stages will differ. It all adds to generally the same though. 2 - You can change the font size of the duplicate list from the 'More Options' window ('Duplicate Files') subtab. 3- Unchecking the 'More Options'->'Show results of last sca...
