I have no idea what makes duplicate cleaner pro so slow. It is so slow that I don't use the treat compressed files as directories anymore. Resetting just means I must wait for about a minute for Duplicate Cleaner to restart. I have a lot of storage in the form of NAS. I often need to wait for a minute.
It didn't seem to take this long when I first bought and installed DC 4.1.4

It seems like Duplicate Cleaner is trying to scan the last settings when it was shut down.
Sometimes I get 'Not Responding" messages when starting.

I don't know if there is a library that makes it easy to search .7z files. It would be nice if it were possible because I use .7z over .zip when I can.
