Re: which is it?
It displays all copies of the file in each group. You need to select which ones to keep and which to delete. The Selection Assistant can help with this. You can use the selection assistant to help select files for deletion (for instance "Select all but one in each group", or "select f...

Does starting it up from the command line or bat file with the following flag help?

Re: Open Candy? :|
The new OpenCandy has been back in DC Free since July. It's not a virus and doesn't install anything without consent. We have control over the software it offers, and have disabled anything that looks shady. We tend to stick to offering the mainstream stuff - Microsoft Bing, Ask, AVG and indie game ...

Re: Read-Only files don't delete
Done some more testing this end. It deletes read-only to the recycle bin, but not with the Recycle bin option unchecked. This was fixed in an earlier version, but subsequent changes seem to have introduced the problem back in!
I've added this to the priority fix list.

Re: Getting a "SQL logic Error" message
Thanks for the info- Is it possible to get a copy of your duplicatecleanerpro.data file (after running a failed scan),so I can test the issue here? It's in C:\Users\[YOUR USER]\AppData\Roaming\DigitalVolcano\DuplicateCleaner on Windows 7. It shouldn't be too big if you haven't done huge scans, and w...

Re: Duplicate Files popup menu discrepancy
-If you sort the list by 'Path' you can scroll to the files which are in the Path you want to exclude - they will all be together. -Click (not checkmark) on the first file in that path, then scroll to the last one and shift-click on it. You'll see all the ones in between are now highlighted. -Right ...

Re: Duplicate Files popup menu discrepancy
The 'drop selected' only drops the the highlighted files, not the marked (check marked) ones, so it won't affect your marks. An easy way to do this us to sort by folder name and shift-click the range with the folder name you want to exclude. (Don't shift click the checkboxes though!)
